Cardiology Physician Assistant

Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and hospital from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Worksite Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient + calls

EMR: Epic

Provide patient care in both clinic and hospital settings.

Work hours include clinic

Participate in patient floor calls, inpatient hospital work, rounds, consults, and telehealth on days with bad weather.

Manage cardiac floors with a capacity of 144 beds; patient placement can vary by floor.

Handle in-house and beeper call duties, averaging 4-5 patient calls on weekdays per month and 1 weekend per month.

Average patient encounters in the clinic range from 19 per shift; inpatient encounters vary.

Work in a Level 1 trauma facility that also maintains a Level 1 pediatric status.

Complete estimated credentialing within 30-45 days. Requirements:
