About the Role
The Medical Technologist, Microbiology position is to independently perform routine and complex laboratory analyses; assumes responsibility for procedural and system controls, problem solving, teaching and supervision, under direction. Provides physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis/treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Performs patient tests and provides results to physicians; performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of laboratory analyses scheduled by Supervisor
Performs established Quality Control procedures
Maintains professional composure in the workplace
Organizes work process to accommodate patients needs
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
ASCP certification or equivalent preferred
American Society for Clinical Pathologist for those possessing the certification

The expected hourly range for this position is [$33.97– $48.50] per year, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
