YOUR DAY TO DAY:
Assist VP of Finance in many aspects of the financial close and plan process. Oversight of Journal Entries, analyzing and preparing financial statements. Lead the Plan/Budget process for Beverly and UK division and foster collaboration between the divisions. Prepare monthly ASC606 revenue adjustment, support DCMA rate audits, and review of TINA cost proposals amongst other activities.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
10-15% travel required
Oversight and preparation of monthly journal entries.
Preparing and analyzing financial statements and segregating costs to appropriate business units.
Quarterly prep of Business Unit presentations.
Analyzing costs compared to plan and developing bridges to explain material differences.
ASC606 revenue calculation and forecasting.
Work with senior management, engineers, and production staff to properly forecast ASC606 revenue for the month/year.
Support Yerly actual government rate submission to DCMA & DCAA.
SOX audit reviews.
Manage plan process for CPI-EDB (Beverly,MA and the UK).
Review and support TINA Cost proposals.
Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
5+ years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
Strong communication and technical skills.
Familiarity with CAS compliance (Cost Accounting Standards) a plus.
Ability to work cross functionally with planning, engineering, marketing, manufacturing groups, and all levels of management.
Willingness to take on challenges with minimal oversight and drive value to the business.
Strong excel skills.
Have an eye for process improvements and drive value to the business through automation and efficiencies.
Eager to grow within the business and progress professionally.
U.S. Citizenship and are able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
