What You’ll Do:

In this role, you’ll perform critical structural analysis and design for various building types, actively contributing to the project lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for:

Compiling construction documents and conducting site investigations

Designing with materials like aluminum, light gauge metal framing, concrete, steel, and wood

Applying building codes and reference materials to ensure safe, high-quality designs

Preparing professional reports and construction documents

Creating sections, details, and specifications using Revit

Producing and modifying structural sketches and estimating key elements

Reviewing and coordinating construction documents and project details

Attending project coordination meetings and assisting in site inspections

With autonomy to meet deadlines and manage tasks, you’ll also have opportunities to lead elements of project development while enhancing your technical skills.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

2-5 years of structural engineering experience, particularly in building design

Preferred Qualifications:

EIT Certification is preferred

Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, CWC Woodwork, ENERCALC, Tekla, Tedds, RAM, and RISA 3D

Knowledge of industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, Building Code)

We are a small growing structural engineering firm located in Billerica committed to delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions. Our company project types including commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional facilities. We design and analyze structures constructed of a variety of materials including structural steel, stainless steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, wood, and cold formed metal framing. We are currently registered in 12 states.

Full-time
