Job Description
Role Purpose:
You will grows sales that achieve order and revenue goals in SEA for Network and Cybersecurity offerings. This includes selling Industrial Networking and Data Center Infrastructure Systems, Compute Assessments, Designs, Implementations, Cyber Security offerings (iDMZ's, Continuous Threat Detection and End Point Protection) and associated Comprehensive Managed Services. We are looking for experience leading complex sales pursuits and client based executive level engagement/consulting. You must demonstrate collaboration, as their responsibilities will also include working with sales territories, sales management, department domain experts, and strategic partners to Rockwell Automation. Global collaboration, project coordination, market access and strategy planning will be needed.
You will report to APP CON MANAGER, SEA LCS.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a foundational to strong understanding and/or demonstrable experience with products, technologies, and solutions pertaining to Industrial Networking architectures (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Stratix switches), OT/IT Infrastructure convergence, Information Security principles (e.g., Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443), Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V for industrial applications), and Cyber Security Services (e.g., vulnerability assessments, incident response planning). Utilize this expertise to generate demand, develop complex integrated solutions, and drive revenue growth across all vertical industries within the assigned region (e.g., Oil and Gas, Mining, Life Sciences, Heavy Industries, Food and Beverage, Chemical).
Facilitating efficient technical and commercial communication and information flow between customers, regional sales teams, and Rockwell Automation Connected Services delivery. Effectively translate complex technical terms into digestible business language for internal and external stakeholders, expertly managing expectations.
Collaborate closely with the Center of Excellence (COE), Project Management Office (PMO), Solution Consultants, and Proposal Team to meticulously define the Scope of Supply, develop comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs), and establish precise Contract Requirements for proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability.
Drive and exceed Rockwell Automation's sales targets for Network and Cybersecurity solutions, achieving planned business revenue for Industrial Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cyber Security offerings, and Managed Services Contracts within targeted accounts, leveraging a disciplined sales process.
Maintain a robust and accurate sales forecast and pipeline for Connected Services opportunities and related solutions, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Deliver formal, regular status reports to sales management, providing detailed insights into forecast, pipeline, and activity summaries. Rigorously monitor and report weekly revenue and pipeline results via CRM tools for assigned Verticals or Geographies to ensure consistent achievement of performance goals.
Develop and implement robust sales and business management processes, including (but not limited to) Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Funnel Reviews, Target Account Progression, New Customer Generation strategies, Financial Forecasting, Proposal Generation, and Revenue Target Review.
Champion competency development by conducting regular technical learning sessions for territory sales teams, authorized distributor sales teams, and customers. Actively participate in/coordinate Rockwell Automation-led seminars and trade shows, showcasing technical capabilities.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to produce data-driven growth strategies and target account plans. This includes continuous understanding of competitive landscapes, emerging trends, analysis of key wins/losses, and communication of service development needs to the Business Unit product management teams.
Experience and Education
Associates degree required in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Information Technology.
Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in experience meeting sales goals.
Develop technical value propositions and demonstrating business and financial acumen, quantifying return on investment, Capital planning, Operational Budget management
5 years or more of Automation, Engineering Services or Manufacturing industry experience required.
Experience and managing conflicting demands and expectations.
Must facilitate win strategy processes
Experience and demonstrated track record in developing account reach, executive level selling, client-based strategy creation of existing frameworks in place
Demonstrate vendor/partner relationship management, collaborative selling (e.g. Cisco Systems, Panduit, Claroty VMware, Juniper, Bluecoat, Check Point, Symantec) including influencing and developing strategic partnerships.
Must be able to travel up to 50% within your assigned territory.
