Other Conditions: Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2025 - 2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. May be forday, evening, or weekend off erings, on- and off -campus (e.g., clinical settings), as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct lectures and training in the Bachelor of Science in the Nursing (BSN)program and/or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, to include clinical practicums.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.

Must meet the requirements to apply for Hawaii RN licensure.

Must meet health requirements to work in a hospital clinical setting (vaccinations, titers, etc).

Acute care experience.

To be eligible to teach in the DNP program, one must hold a minimum of a doctoral degree in a nursing related field (if there are no applicants meeting this MQ, those not meeting the MQ may be considered on an exception basis).

Desirable Qualifications

Acute care experience in medical/surgical or Emergency Room departments.

Extensive experience with acute care adult health clinical instruction in BSN nursing and/or DNP program(s).

Master’s of Science in Nursing for teaching in the BSN program.
