About the Role / Position Summary
VP, Investment Data Solutions is a leadership role focused on driving cross-functional initiatives to streamline business processes and oversee the implementation of strategic corporate initiatives. Acting as a vital link between stakeholders, clients, and technical teams, this role ensures seamless alignment between strategic business goals, operational priorities, and customer needs. Combining expertise in business process analysis and project management, this role delivers impactful solutions that enhance efficiency, profitability, and service delivery across the organization.
What You’ll Do / Position Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Vision
Reporting to the COO, collaborating with department leaders to help identify, document and coordinate the strategic planning and execution of operations and technology initiatives.
Research, analyze, recommend, and implement changes to FEG’s business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability.
Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives where you define product vision and develop an implementation plan to execute on business needs that drive the Firm forward.
Assess processes and systems and recommend mitigating solutions for operational risks identified.
Technology & Industry Expertise
Serve as an analytical, objective thought partner to internal stakeholders, helping refine strategic decisions with data-driven insights.
Attend relevant seminars and maintain network contacts to stay abreast of the ever-changing vendor landscape and best practices within the financial industry; monitor, review, and report on solutions.
Ability to utilize knowledge of risk and industry to ensure solutions operate at the highest standards.
Data Management & Technology Alignment
Ensure all projects are running smoothly, meeting regularly with stakeholders across the firm.
Work with COO and department leaders on aligning resources and systems to account for future growth of the firm.
Identify the right solutions to help bring together data from various sources (e.g., custodians, market data providers, internal systems) into a unified platform.
Streamline data management processes to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.
Manage key vendor relationships.

What We Expect / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, project management, or related field. For certain positions, we accept a high school diploma, GED, or National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
15+ years of work experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, and solutions implementation, preferably within the asset management sector.
Preferred certifications include PMP, CBAP, CSPO or Lean Six Sigma.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. JIRA, MS Project) and process mapping software (e.g. Visio).
Experience with implementations and change management methodologies.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively and resolve complex issues with minimal guidance.
