House Supervisor

Job Summary:

The House Supervisor is the administrative representative after hours, on weekends and on holidays. The House Supervisor assesses activities of all departments to assure continuity of care, reports pertinent information to management and administration. Provides continuity in supervision of hospital personnel and provides guidance and direction to maintain quality clinical care along with prudent fiscal management (supplies and staffing). The House Supervisor creates and maintains an environment which promotes mutual trust, acceptance, recognition, and respect.

Qualifications

Requirements and Preferences:

Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Alabama. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: Two years nursing experience required. Five years preferred.

Additional skills / abilities: Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and basic computer skills.
