We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and innovative Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and testing digital and RF systems, particularly focusing on communication devices. You will collaborate with a talented team to pioneer new communication device solutions and engage in design reviews and trade studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement PCBs for RF communication systems, including RF and power distribution.

Conduct comprehensive testing and validation to ensure hardware performance and reliability.

Analyze schematic diagrams for both custom and COTS electronic hardware.

Develop and maintain essential documentation such as requirements documents, functional specifications, and engineering diagrams.

Create and execute project test plans and procedures, supporting both lab and field testing.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including electrical, systems, software, and signal processing engineers.

Provide technical guidance on hardware solutions, methodologies, and best practices.

Support customer integration and troubleshooting efforts.

Interface with PCB vendors to communicate requirements and feedback for testing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering.

Proven experience in RF design for receivers and transmitters.

Proficient in RF cascade analysis, balancing gain, noise figure, and linearity.

Strong understanding of RF theory and practical problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of performance characteristics of analog data converters and interfacing with RF front ends.

Experience with Linux for testing and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in working with PCB circuits, including power and control signals.

Experience with CAD software is advantageous but not required.

Ability to work independently to identify necessary hardware components and assist in procurement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Active SECRET Clearance required, with TS/SCI preferred.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Warrenton, providing a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
