CNC Set Up Operator

Title: CNC Programmer/Operator (1st Shift)

Location: Gilberts, IL 60136

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k match

Hourly Pay: $30hr - $35hr

Job Duties:

Program CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software for Mills and Lathes

Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and machining instructions to ensure precision production.

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills efficiently and accurately.

Collaborate with Engineers to develop custom solutions and optimize part designs.

Partner with Quality Inspectors to resolve quality concerns and maintain part accuracy.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure top performance.

Select and install proper tooling based on job requirements.

Train and mentor new CNC Programmers and Setup Technicians as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with CNC programming and setup (Haas preferred).

Strong understanding of CAD/CAM systems and machining processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and metric specifications.
