As the Key Account Director you will be responsible for creating, growing and managing relationships with high value accounts in the Energy sector, identifying and initiating growth opportunities.
Candidates with freight/logistics Key Account management experience, dealing with global key accounts in the Energy/Oil and Gas sector are encouraged to apply.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop new business in the energy market
Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams
Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company
Work closely with local, regional and international operations staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met
Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts
Support and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of accounts
Conducting sales and contract negotiation meetings
Preparation of commercial documentation including bids, tenders and pricing
Planning; organization and execution of customer visits
Implementation of regular review meetings
Ensuring communication between Sales/Customer Service, Operations and to Management
The ideal candidate:
Proven track record of leading growth in the freight / logistics / energy sector
5-10 years commercial development experience in the freight / logistics industry
Track record of developing high value / global key accounts
Competitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.
Demonstrates considerable judgment in selecting methods
Self-motivated individual experienced in making and implementing decision.
