Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary systems point of contact for Export New Business efforts
Provide systems engineering support for bid activity, technical queries, and proposal development
Generate and review system cost estimates to support bids, coordinating with stakeholders
Forecast and communicate systems resource needs to meet changing demands
Maintain regular communication with key team leads and stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve integration between systems and business development functions
Own and maintain the Sea Ceptor Generic Documentation Suite (GDS), ensuring accuracy and consistency across programmes
Coordinate technical governance and monthly engineering reviews
Support the development of generic and programme-specific Statements of Work (SoW) for export contracts
Manage and align the systems cost base with programme requirements
Monitor upcoming workload forecasts, identifying gaps or overcapacity
Represent the team in technical meetings, including with external partners
Collaborate closely with domestic new business functions to ensure unified strategic delivery
Option to lead a specific programme during the delivery phase
Support other systems activities as needed across current programmes
What We’re Looking For:
A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Experience with or knowledge of the bid lifecycle
Able to manage multiple programmes simultaneously and respond effectively to changing priorities
Strong delivery mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to shifting requirements
Solid understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
Familiarity with tools such as IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) and DOORS is desirable
