Cutter Operator

A leading provider in the commercial printing and fulfillment industry is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team on 1st shift in Monroe, Ohio. Responsibilities for Cutter Operator:

Operate industrial paper cutting equipment (preferably Saber cutters) to complete a variety of commercial print jobs

Maintain accurate cutting measurements and ensure output quality meets specifications

Read and follow job tickets, written instructions, and verbal directions

Collaborate with manufacturing team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations

Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on cutting machines

Accurately complete data and production records

Follow all safety protocols and quality procedures, including ISO standards

Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

Cross-train and assist with special bindery and finishing projects as needed

Requirements for Cutter Operator:

Minimum 3â 5 years of experience operating a cutter in a commercial printing environment

Familiarity with Saber cutters strongly preferred

Ability to read and interpret job specs, work instructions, and technical diagrams

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally

Basic computer skills (knowledge of PSI and/or Prestige is a plus)

High school diploma or GED required

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and assist other departments if needed

Preferred Skills:

Ability to cut specialty projects like business cards, step books, and crossovers

Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining cutting equipment

Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Proven track record of working in high-volume production environments
