Your Role with the Company:

As a Structured Cabling Service Technician, you will:

Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues in live commercial environments.

Perform fiber optic splicing and termination (LC, SC, ST, etc.) for service repairs and upgrades.

Complete copper terminations (Cat5e/Cat6) and patch panel replacements.

Test and certify network cabling with Fluke or similar equipment.

Route and install cables as needed to restore or enhance system function.

Read and interpret floor plans, riser diagrams, and as-builts.

Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls and maintain documentation of work.

Background Profile:

3+ years of experience in structured cabling (voice/data/fiber).

Experience with fusion splicing and fiber terminations.

Familiarity with commercial network systems and hardware.

Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and use test equipment.

Professionalism when interacting with clients in occupied spaces.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
