Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment and possess basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Shift: 6AM - 6PM OR 6PM - 6AM (rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule)

Pay: $18+ per hour

Position Type: Temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities for Forklift Operator:

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.

Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on forklifts and equipment.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).

Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and organizing materials.

Identify and report mechanical issues or potential hazards.

Qualifications & Skills for Forklift Operator:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid forklift operator certification or ability to obtain one.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
