We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our Global Client Management Alternatives team. As a member of an enterprise client coverage team, you will have a unique opportunity to gain exposure to BNY’s entire product suite and be an integral part of our client-facing team covering a portfolio of leading global alternative asset managers (hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate). This role is in New York, NY – HYBRID

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Gain exposure to clients by assisting with external and internal meeting planning and preparation, including drafting briefing memos in collaboration with the lead relationship coverage bankers and business lines, and creating presentations for pitches

Staying updated on client news, conducting research and analysis on industry trends, and exploring internal product use cases at BNY

Maintaining the team's CRM system for data quality; track wins, pipeline, and opportunities

Create reports for senior coverage bankers and BNY management to highlight metrics for the team's portfolio of clients and the Alternatives segment

Foster robust relationships with essential cross-functional team members

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required

2-5 years of total work experience preferred

Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel

Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills with the ability to produce professional output in different formats; strong writing ability and an eye for detail are a must

Ability to grow within the role – develop stronger leadership and influencing skills, recognized collaborator by colleagues and clients

The ability to establish relationships with diverse individuals and working styles, in the context of a global company with colleagues from different cultures. Adept at communicating (both verbally and in writing) with multiple internal partners to drive results

Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure with a track record of delivering against deadlines

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $56,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
