Description

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of key projects organization-wide and specific to departments. This newly created role reports to the Director of Operations and is part of the Operations Leadership team. The Project Manager will be responsible for creating and embedding standards for project management methodology and process improvement aligned to industry best practices This position will coordinate internal teams, external business partners, and stakeholders to manage the full project lifecycle across all phases of a project for successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a project request intake process, prioritization approach tied to strategic goals and ROI, project capacity planning and roadmap, scope determination, detailed planning and task tracking, accountability to defined performance indicators of success, and ensuring project goals are delivered on time, within budget, and maintain high quality standards. This role is accountable for creating learning resources and providing education that enables others in the organization to lead and execute projects and process improvement efforts themselves . This role will facilitate collaborative change efforts, decision-making, and communications in change management, also ensuring successful sustainment of project outcomes. The position offices at Golden Valley, but will travel to all MCN sites for routine visits and as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments.

Lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle.

Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring timely delivery.

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding progress, issues, and changes.

Manage budgets, track expenditures, and provide status reports to senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct project performance reviews using defined metrics and key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement post-completion.

Teach project management and process improvement skills and methods to others in the organization.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, IT, or related field.

Healthcare experience preferred.

3-5 years of experience in project management or a related role. PMP certification preferred. Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Miro, Jira, or others)

Experience training and supporting others in project management techniques and tools desired.

Competency and ability to guide others in using Lean process improvement and human-centered design methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Knowledge of change management methodology and principles.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong customer service orientation.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Ability to work independently, exhibit mature judgment and make sound decisions.

Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.

Driver's license.

Salary
