Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team in Hot Springs, Arkansas!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Cardiologist for call coverage at a well-respected medical center located in the scenic city of Hot Springs, Arkansas. This facility specializes in providing exceptional care and is accredited for Chest Pain. With a focus on inpatient care, our center is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology that supports a robust interventional cardiology practice. You will be joining a team that includes two seasoned cardiologists and support from three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who assist with general rounding during the week. Job Responsibilities:

Provide call coverage for interventional cardiology, focusing primarily on inpatient cases.

Participate in STEMI call; inpatient heart catheterizations are scheduled with an average of 30 cases per month.

Utilize advanced technologies including nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, and participate in cardiac rehabilitation.

Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including electrophysiology and cardiovascular surgery services.

Maintain effective communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.

Respond to call notifications within 30 minutes and fulfill a 24-hour shift rotation from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM. Qualifications:

Board certification in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.

Eligibility for board certification, with active provider license preferred but not required.

Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient care and safety.

Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, inpatient setting.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to healthcare. License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification (required).

Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (required).

Temporary privileges available; no hospital privileges required.
