NFP Job Description Job Title: Compliance Manager Department: Administration Reports To: Chief Executive Officer FLSA Status: Full Time Exempt Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 TCA Benefits: 401K Retirement Savings Plan and up to a 4% match; Medical Insurance- employer pays 85% of single HMO rate.
Dental and Vision Insurance- employer pays 100% of single HMO rate.
Employer-Paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance.
Employer- Paid Long Term Disability.
Nine (9) paid holidays per year.

POSITION SUMMARY This individual will be responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, mitigating risk, and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following); * Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring * Lead the development, execution, and oversight of an effective Compliance Monitoring and Testing Program to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
* Assess and analyze the regulatory and legislative environment to identify emerging compliance issues and upcoming changes affecting FQHC operations.
* Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to proactively address compliance concerns.
* Ensure adherence to HRSA, HIPAA, OSHA, OIG, and other federal/state regulatory requirements.
* Issue Identification & Resolution * Collaborate with department leaders to identify areas of potential non-compliance.
* Develop and implement corrective action plans in response to compliance risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
* Engage with leadership to provide guidance on compliance best practices.
* Marketing & Communications Compliance * Review marketing and promotional materials to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and market conduct requirements.
* Maintain, update, and manage disclaimers, disclosures, and other compliance-related documentation.
* Research and draft new disclosures as required to align with regulatory changes.
* Business & Vendor Oversight * Facilitate business monitoring activities in collaboration with company Directors and Analysts.
* Manage compliance vendors and ensure adherence to intercompany Service Level Agreements (SLAs). * Conduct training sessions to educate staff on compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Strong knowledge of HRSA, HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, OIG, and other applicable healthcare regulations.
* Experience conducting compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Required: * Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Law, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management, preferably within an FQHC, community health center, or nonprofit healthcare setting.
Preferred: * Master's degree in Healthcare Compliance, Public Health, Business, or a related field.
* Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar compliance certification.
* Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems and compliance monitoring tools.
* Familiarity with value-based care, managed care, and population health compliance frameworks.
