Metallurgical Testing Assistant - Join our Team in Woodhaven, MI! Position Type:

Six-month contract Hourly Rate:

$25.66 - $33.35 based on experience Shift:

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Imagine working in a space where your contributions ensure quality in every metal sheet. As a key player in our lab, you'll handle sample preparations and vital tests, supported by your mechanical testing expertise. Regular tasks include equipment upkeep and ensuring safety compliance, all while leveraging your Microsoft Office skills. Your Role:

Safely prepare and test aluminum sheet metal samples.

Accurately record and log test results.

Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.

Operate and monitor testing equipment effectively.

Implement and promote safety standards. What We Expect:

Commitment to the 2nd shift and flexibility on weekends.

A high school diploma is mandatory; further education is a plus.

Experience: 2+ years in a lab environment preferred.

Handle large metal sheets with precision.

Analyze and respond to test results critically.

Comfortable navigating Windows OS.
