The Virtual Sales Manager is responsible for frontline management of the Virtual Sales Team for the Performance Materials Line of Business ensuring profitable growth for the organization.

What you ll do: The Virtual Sales Manager is the leader responsible for delivering profitable growth for the business by leading a team of associates who work and engage with customer remotely through: Deliver customer retention and expansion of share with existing assigned customers Engage prospective customers through various means ensuring through purchase communicating Univar Solutions Value.

Drive the team achieve sales results while adhering to company policies and safety requirements through real time feedback and engagement and weekly one on one’s providing constructive feedback for sales development and goal attainment.

Recruit, Hire, Onboard and train new associates.

Assign and manage the execution of duties required to meet the needs of the business.

Ensure Customer expectations are met through the management of associate KPI’s, monitoring of workload, and execution of associate responsibilities.

Identify areas for process optimization.

Maintain a pricing strategy and execution of price management.

Collaborate with Account Management Leaders, Product Management, Customer Solutions, Technical / ADS, Sales Support.

Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory levels for overall customer satisfaction.

Prepare and delivery monthly read out of business performance successes and learnings to business leaders What you ll need: Bachelor’s degree preferred but a proven track record with a growth portfolio 3-5 years’ experience in Performance Materials Industry preferably with Sales or translatable experience 2+ years management/supervisory experience a plus, internal organizational knowledge in lieu of previous supervisor experience acceptable B2B sales supervision required.

Strong leadership skills in mentoring, motivating, and leading teams through change.

Proven ability to initiate and analyze sophisticated situations or undefined issues to determine accurate course of action.

High level of decision making while balancing customer needs and company objectives.

Proven communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Ability to provide feedback to leadership within the organization Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, Tableau Where you ll work: Home-based opportunity for candidates based in Texas or Ohio.
