Sr. Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Administrative Services Associate position will provide administrative support to the MMD Wilson site leadership team as well as to the broader site. The position will require advanced computer skills and ability to follow Merck administrative processes. This position will work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilies:

Provide administrative support to the team including schedule management, meeting management, and coordination of various activities at the site.

Manage visitors to the site including logistical support.

Assist with various business processes including support for purchasing and expense management

Provide communications support to the site leadership team including developing and issuing communications to the plant site or targeted departments

Provide assistance for candidate interviews, employee onboarding, and employee change management.

Assists and coordinate special projects and events within the site and with community relations.

Education Minimum Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:

8+ years of experience working in an office administrative role.

Advanced computer skills including proficiency using MS Office tools and ability to learn various web-based platforms.

Professionalism and communication skills.

Advanced planning, follow-up, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.Company Description
