Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Services Manager with a current LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) to oversee and coordinate the delivery of comprehensive social services to individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, clinical insight, and a deep commitment to promoting the well-being of underserved populations. This role involves program development, staff supervision, community collaboration, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to a team of social workers, case managers, and support staff.

Oversee the delivery of client-centered services, including assessments, case planning, crisis intervention, and referrals.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and standards of professional practice.

Develop and implement programs and initiatives that address community needs and support positive client outcomes.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and funding requirements.

Collaborate with other service providers, community agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate care and resources.

Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.

Provide direct clinical supervision (if applicable and qualified) to LMSW or MSW-level staff seeking licensure.

Lead regular team meetings and offer ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.

Participate in budget planning, grant writing, and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

Current LMSW license in New York

Strong knowledge of social work principles, case management, trauma-informed care, and community resources.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in electronic case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Company Description
