We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Admin to join our team in Utica, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our collections and credit administration processes within a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals skilled in collections and financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Review daily documentation from JP Morgan Lockbox and ensure it is distributed to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Retrieve and organize necessary documentation to support audit requests.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects related to collections and credit administration.
• Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including billing and claim administration.
• Manage inbound calls and address customer inquiries related to billing and collections.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate records and financial data.
• Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to streamline collection processes.
• Support the implementation of efficient workflows for claim and collection functions.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in collections or credit administration.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and tools like CRM and Epic Software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and billing functions.
• Ability to analyze and identify risks in financial operations.
• Effective communication skills for managing inbound calls and customer interactions.
• Experience with tools such as Accurint and ADP Financial Services is preferred.
