Patching and Application Packaging Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable SCCM/Intune Contractor to support our endpoint management team with a strong focus on patching and application packaging. This role is critical to our security remediation efforts and will involve building and deploying software packages, updates, and scripts to ensure compliance across our hybrid environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and deploy application packages using Microsoft SCCM and Intune to streamline software distribution.

• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate patching and security remediation processes.

• Monitor and manage patch deployment across Windows 10/11 workstations and servers to ensure compliance.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to missing software installations using tools like the Company Portal and SCCM.

• Identify and address non-compliant assets, including outdated applications and vulnerabilities, to maintain a secure environment.

• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to prioritize and implement remediation tasks effectively.

• Support the deployment and patching processes for Microsoft 365 and Autopilot-related systems to enhance system efficiency.• Proven experience with Microsoft SCCM for system configuration and management tasks.

• Hands-on expertise with Windows Intune for endpoint management and software deployment.

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation and system remediation.

• Familiarity with MSI (Microsoft Installer) for application packaging and deployment.

• Strong understanding of patch management processes for Windows 10/11 environments.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software installation and compliance issues.

• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on security and infrastructure projects.
