In this role, you’ll hone your business development and project management skills while guiding and developing a talented team of engineers to leave your mark on our thriving land development practice and community. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and act as the lead designer in the design process by identifying problems and creating solutions in the early phases of the project to ensure client needs are met at completion.

Design and create technical documents in AutoCAD and Civil3D

Pursue and manage current and prospective projects in order to expand client base and client revenue.

Offer direction and guidance to the staff by sharing knowledge to heighten the work product and project processes.

Lead and manage team efforts and coordinate with other PM’s in all phases of projects.

Develop an efficient workflow for the design team

Utilize working knowledge of VDOT, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and the possession or pursuit of a PE license.

10 years + of experience in land development/site civil engineering

Proven leadership skills and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.

Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
