MANUFACTURING ENGINEER – PLASTIC MOLDING OPERATIONS

Looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact and take ownership of key plant-level systems and process improvements? This Manufacturing Engineer position supports molding and post-mold operations with a focus on workflow, equipment validation, and production efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Refine and further implement CMMS and MES systems for plant-wide visibility and efficiency.

Lead workflow and line layout improvements in molding and downstream operations, with a focus on labeling, packaging, and welding readiness.

Manage tooling projects, working directly with vendors to coordinate builds, refurbishments, and changes.

Lead validation activities related to machinery, equipment, and process implementation.

Support improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies with a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Collaborate across departments to improve process flow and documentation from molding through final assembly.

Support the Controls Engineer and Process Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.

Background in injection molding preferred.

Vibratory welding experience preferred.

Experience establishing and improving line layouts and process flows using Lean tools.

Familiarity with CMMS and MES systems in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and review complex CAD files related to injection mold tooling (design not required).
