Engineering Manager

We are currently assisting our client, a leader in their industry, with an Engineering Manager search near Toledo, OH. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will lead and mentor the Engineering department and manage the function for the organization; responsible for the design engineering programs from initial concept phases to launch, while ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maximize efficiencies and achieve capacity requirements

Foster a culture of continuous improvement for the most effective use of resources and drive improvement in product quality

Manage the prototypes and testing to meet customer requirements

Engage with suppliers for development support when necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required

Experience with hydraulics product development preferred

Proven team leadership experience with an emphasis on developing and long-term strategy
