We’re working with a leading engineering firm that’s looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to support substation site development for electrical utility projects. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the design of steel supports, foundations, and site development plans for high-voltage substations
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and regulatory agencies, to develop complete drawing packages
Conduct structural evaluations of existing foundations and support structures, especially during emergency equipment replacement
Utilize tools like STAAD.Pro and/or Risa3D for modeling and analysis
Contribute to the development of internal structural standards for the client
What We’re Looking For:
BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
EIT (required)
5–10+ years of experience in structural or substation engineering
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a detail-oriented and collaborative approach
A self-starter with a high standard for quality and accuracy
