Creative welder & fabricator with 10 years + experience. Responsible for the manual labor and ultimate control of welding torch he is provided in a given environment. The worker should be able to:

Role and Responsibilities:

Operate and set-up all welding and fabrication equipment with minimal instruction.

Grind his or her own welds and not rely on helper.

Read shop drawings/production schematics

Steel erection experience is a MUST

MUST be AWS & AISC certified

Accurately use and read measuring tools

Lift a Heavy Weight

Stand for extended periods of time while performing tasks.

Work in a fast-paced environment in order to keep up with production requirements.

Prep materials for welding and fabicating

Work in shop environment (It's Texas...so it gets hot and humid)

A creative mindset is a MUST

Must be able to drive to sites (Clean license)

The candidate will be required to:

Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, and various welding equipment and hand tools is a plus.

Fabricate, join, and/or repair equipment, fixtures and various types of metal objects and structures using oxygen-acetylene, stick and electric arc welding.

Use a forklift and other construction machinery

Roles y responsabilidades:

Operar y configurar todo el equipo de soldadura y fabricación con instrucciones mínimas.

Rectificar sus propias soldaduras y no depender de ayuda.

Leer dibujos de taller/esquemas de producción.

Experiencia en montaje de acero es IMPRESCINDIBLE.

Utilizar y leer con precisión herramientas de medición.

Levantar peso pesado.

Permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados mientras realiza tareas.

Trabajar en un entorno de ritmo rápido para cumplir con los requisitos de producción.

Preparar materiales para soldadura y fabricación.

Trabajar en un entorno de taller (es Texas... así que hace calor y húmedo).

Una mentalidad creativa es IMPRESCINDIBLE.

Debe poder conducir a los sitios (Licencia limpia).

El candidato deberá:

Operar taladros de banco, sierras eléctricas, amoladoras y varios equipos de soldadura y herramientas manuales es una ventaja.

Fabricar, unir y/o reparar equipos, accesorios y varios tipos de objetos y estructuras de metal utilizando soldadura oxígeno-acetileno, de arco eléctrico y eléctrica.

Usar una carretilla elevadora y otra maquinaria de construcción.
