CAD Design Coordinator and Checker

About the Role - They are looking for a CAD Design Coordinator/Checker to check assemblies, pressure parts, structural component assemblies and detail drawings of equipment.

This role would hold the following responsibilities:

Verifying the validity of the design, compatibility with adjacent components, drawing procedures, drawing standards, and mathematical accuracy. When needed assist with preparing or updating major components, sub assembly, sections and detail drawings, calculations, BOM, and 3D models of equipment.

Possibly use AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Revit, and Inventor in your design work.

Review project customer specifications

Prepare major assembly, section, and detail drawings and itemized bill of materials

Develop and maintain 3D models of piping and equipment.

Generate weight calculations for parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies
