Summary:
Meet is partnered with a ground-breaking biotech in the Bay Area focused on sequencing. In this role, you will design and develop user interfaces that empower thousands of scientists to interpret complex data with clarity and speed. While you'll occasionally contribute to backend systems, your primary focus will be on crafting clean, intuitive, high-performance frontends.
Responsibilities:
Design and build modern web applications to visualize and analyze scientific data
Collaborate with product, design, and scientific domain experts to build interfaces that solve real user problems
Own the entire frontend lifecycle — from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment
Occasionally contribute to backend APIs or data pipelines to support frontend features
Implement robust testing and continuous integration practices
Continuously improve performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the product
Help shape the technical direction and UI/UX standards of our engineering team
Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field
4+ years of professional experience in JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue)
2+ years of experience in the biotechnology industry
Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, responsive design, and modern browser APIs
Comfortable working in a full-stack environment (basic experience with Python, Flask/Django)
Familiarity with AWS cloud environments
Experience with data visualization libraries
