Signal Processing Engineer

We’re working with an innovative New Space company looking for skilled Digital Signal Processing Engineers to join their high-performing team in Los Angeles.

As a DSP Engineer, you’ll play a key role in a small, collaborative team focused on digital communications development. You’ll contribute to end-to-end algorithm design and modeling in MATLAB, and also take ownership of building robust, production-quality software frameworks in Python or C++. Close collaboration with FPGA and embedded engineers is central to this role, ensuring seamless integration of algorithms into real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and model DSP algorithms for digital communication systems

Develop production-ready software frameworks to support algorithm implementation

Work closely with FPGA and embedded teams to support system integration

Requirements:

Strong grasp of DSP fundamentals

Experience with floating- and fixed-point modeling

Proficiency in MATLAB and either Python or C++

Familiarity with FPGA workflows and design constraints
