Engineering Manager

Great opportunity for an Engineering Manager to work for a North American industry leader located in Lincoln, NE.

Our client is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to be responsible for leading a team of Design Engineers focused on New Product Development over two entire brand portfolios.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead New Product Development and continuous improvement engineering staff and technicians.

Execute designs as required.

Develop, test, and document new product projects as assigned.

Coordinate with Current Product Support Engineering to ensure transition of new products from design to implementation on shop floor.

Assist in analysis of field problems and corrective actions related to those matters.

Assist in researching and specifying design solutions.

Develop and achieve product development timelines, develop product cost projections and provide regular reporting on project status.

Create presentations on projects, project status, product research and related matters.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

7+ years of Product Design engineering experience

Must have an understanding of the entire product development cycle.

Must be able to create mechanical designs using a CAD system.
