Our client equips local governments with scalable technology for asset intelligence, geospatial integration, and predictive maintenance. We're looking for a data-driven Implementation Specialist who can bridge the gap between municipal operations and modern asset data infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll lead technical implementations of enterprise asset management systems (EAM) and GIS integrations, enabling cities to optimize capital planning, lifecycle forecasting, and field service coordination through accurate, actionable data.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth assessments of municipal asset data environments, identifying inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improved data flow and standardization
Design and implement geospatially-enabled asset management systems (ArcGIS, Esri, or similar) that integrate with legacy databases and GIS platforms
Configure, test, and optimize geodatabases for large-scale infrastructure datasets (linear and point assets)
Collaborate with software engineers, data analysts, and GIS technicians to ensure clean system integration and functional interoperability
Build dashboards, reports, and data pipelines that enhance real-time decision-making for maintenance, investment planning, and compliance
Act as the technical point of contact for client-side project teams, offering support on architecture, schema design, data validation, and platform performance
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working with digital asset management systems and spatial data (e.g., ArcGIS Enterprise, Esri Geodatabase, Cartegraph, Cityworks)
Proficiency in geospatial database design, ETL processes, and data modeling for municipal infrastructure assets
Strong understanding of city infrastructure systems (roads, water, sewer, transit, etc.) and their related asset hierarchies
Experience in scripting or automating data processes using Python, SQL, or FME
Ability to translate operational needs into scalable data architecture and user-facing workflows
Familiarity with API integrations and system interoperability standards in municipal tech ecosystems
Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills to support project delivery and stakeholder alignment
