Job Title: Welding Shop Laborer

Job Description:

As a Welding Shop Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our welding shop. Your responsibilities will include assisting welders, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate should be able to read a tape measure accurately and operate machinery safely. Forklift training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Assist welders with material preparation and cleanup tasks.

Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.

Operate machinery and equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area including general housekeeping.

Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Experience operating machinery in a shop environment.

Forklift training and certification preferred.

Strong attention to detail and safety.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as required.
