Job Overview:

We are seeking a flexible and reliable Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a rural Observation Unit and Emergency Department in Ira, NY. The role includes independent coverage of a 2-3 bed Observation Unit and assisting in the ED when not rounding.

Key Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Shifts: 12-hour (7a-7p or 7p-7a) - Must be flexible with both shifts

Observation Unit: Manage 2-3 patients independently

Emergency Department: Support under direct supervision of ED physician

Census: 26 patients/day; 9,500/year

Documentation: EPIC

Coverage Model: Single provider

Requirements:

Board Certified (NP/PA)

Active NY License & DEA - Required

ACLS, BLS Certifications - Required

Ability to work shift blocks

New grads welcome

Travel & Lodging:

Mileage or rental car and hotel lodging reimbursed
