Locums General Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Pendleton, OR. The ideal candidate will have experience in a broad range of general surgical procedures and be comfortable providing both scheduled outpatient clinic care and emergency surgical services during a block schedule.

Schedule & Responsibilities:

Shift Type: 7–10 day block scheduling

Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

24-Hour Call Coverage during each block

Duties Include:

Scheduled outpatient clinic visits

Post-op care and surgical consults

Emergency and scheduled surgeries

Required Procedures:

Diagnostic & Screening Colonoscopies

Cholecystectomy

Hernia Repair with Mesh

Diagnostic EGD

Excision of Breast Lesions

Repair of Abdominal Wall with Synthetic Substitute

Appendectomy

Skin Excisions

Hemorrhoidectomy

Requirements:

Board Certification in General Surgery

Active Oregon Medical License

DEA License

BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications

Comfortable using Meditech and eCW systems
