GL and Payroll Accounting Analyst

Title: GL & Payroll Accounting Analyst

Location: Calamba City, Laguna (Hybrid/Day Shift)

Work with Payroll, Timekeeping, HR and GL Controllership for the effective and efficient end to end processing of semi-monthly payrolls, including all related tasks in accordance with the Company’s procedures / deadlines and TCP/ROHQ GL matters. The incumbent shall be responsible for the administration and maintenance of Payroll Processes and GL analytics, in the recording of journal entries and financial reporting. He/She will be working closely to other teams for the reports being requested.

Key Accountabilities

Primarily responsible for the processing of payroll entries recording.

Prepare and safeguards all payroll journal entries during month-end close activities and monitors approval and posting in DAX system.

Analyze and book true-up, reclassifications and/or adjustments critical for financial reporting.

Prepare and maintain records of balance-sheet accounts for reporting in the OneStream System.

Assist the GL supervisor in the preparation of financial reports and analysis of PL accounts.

Coordinate to Compliance team the remittance and filing of Compensation tax (BIR 160C and 1604CF).

Work on Payroll enhancement projects and continuous improvements activities

Attend to any kind of audit related to payroll and other GL assigned accounts and provide requirements requested

Assist on ROH T&E/Concur entry preparation and the related analytics

Perform GL account reconciliation other than payroll analytics

Collaborate with GL personnel on continuous improvement projects

Works on ROH Fixed Assets Management, lapsing and the related analytics

Responsible for ROH Treasury functions

Engagement to all projects and activities related to process improvements and streamlining.

Observe and maintain employee’s data confidentiality.

Perform ad hoc activities that may be assigned

Qualifications

Education:

BS Accountancy graduate or any business-related course

Experiences, Skillsets & Personal Competencies:

At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in different areas in Finance and Accounting like payroll, GL or accounts payable in an automated accounting system.

Preferably handled payroll/GL related projects or lead a team.
