We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Remote Travel Agent to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements tailored to their preferences and budget. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, providing travel advice, and managing all aspects of the booking process—all while working from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
Research, recommend, and book travel packages including flights, hotels, cruises, rental cars, and excursions.
Customize travel itineraries for individuals, families, or groups.
Provide up-to-date information on destinations, entry requirements, and travel regulations.
Manage changes, cancellations, and rebookings as needed.
Maintain client records and process payments securely.
Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and follow-up.
Stay informed about travel trends, promotions, and supplier offerings.
Handle customer issues and resolve travel disruptions promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience as a travel agent or in a customer service/travel sales role.
Proficiency with booking systems and tools (e.g., GDS platforms like Sabre, Amadeus, or Apollo).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
High-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup.
Passion for travel and helping others create memorable experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in travel or tourism (e.g., IATA, CTA, or TICO).
Experience with both domestic and international travel planning.
Familiarity with luxury or niche travel (e.g., honeymoons, cruises, group travel).
