We are seeking an experienced and organized Remote Sports Travel Coordinator to manage travel logistics for sports teams, athletes, coaches, and staff. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, itineraries, and event logistics—ensuring seamless experiences for sports professionals competing at all levels. This is a fully remote position requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and book all travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and meals for sports teams and personnel.
Develop detailed travel itineraries that align with training, games, tournaments, or competition schedules.
Communicate with coaches, team managers, and event organizers to confirm travel needs and special requirements.
Monitor and adapt to last-minute changes, cancellations, or rebookings.
Ensure all travel complies with budget guidelines and contractual agreements.
Handle visa applications, entry requirements, and travel documentation as needed.
Liaise with travel vendors and sports organizations to secure preferred rates and group accommodations.
Provide 24/7 support during travel periods for urgent needs or adjustments.
Track and report travel expenses, reconcile invoices, and assist with budget planning.
Stay updated on travel advisories, destination logistics, and health/safety protocols for sports travel.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in travel coordination, preferably within the sports industry or team travel.
Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Proficiency in travel booking systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Concur) and project management tools.
Familiarity with the needs of athletes and the demands of team travel logistics.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and during travel windows.
