Summary: The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing the inventory. This includes tracking incoming and outgoing stock, reconciling discrepancies, adjusting stock counts, and maintaining accurate records.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Monitor inventory levels of stock, supplies, and other merchandise
2. Receive and store incoming products and reconcile with purchase orders
3. Count and update existing stocks and adjust stock levels as needed
4. Prepare and monitor reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies
5. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
6. Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
7. Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
8. Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
9. Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous experience in inventory control or related field
Familiarity with inventory management systems and methods
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Forklift certification preferred
