We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the companys compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Prepare trial balance
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Complete required tax forms
Updating financial records via CRM, QuickBooks, or other software.
Assist with processing biweekly payrolls in ADP.
Complete bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
Manage vendor W-9s, and reporting and processing of all 1099s.
Reconcile PayPal and SHOPIFY accounts.
Register purchase invoices verifying that they are correctly applied to the PO (Purchase Order).
Lead the annual accounting close.Qualifications
Spanish
Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
