Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician.
Responsibilities
Performs radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulations
Assists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the department
Maintains documentation of patient testing information
Completes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology Manager
Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Hours: Weekends only - Saturday's 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and Sunday's 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Associate’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related area
Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
Effective written and verbal communication.
Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others.
Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning.
