Texas Partners Bank is seeking a dynamic and analytical HR/IT Shared Intern to support a collaborative initiative between our Human Resources and Information Technology teams. This role will focus on developing a strategic approach to assessing digital literacy across the organization and supporting the design of targeted upskilling pathways for employees.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain cross-functional experience in two critical departments while contributing to an initiative that directly supports employee engagement, learning, and technological growth across the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Assessment Design
Conduct research on best practices and industry standards for digital literacy assessments.
Evaluate existing tools and platforms for assessing digital competencies (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, cybersecurity hygiene, digital communication, etc.).
Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to define core digital literacy benchmarks relevant to various employee roles.
Develop a recommendation report for a scalable, bank-wide digital literacy assessment solution.
Pilot & Data Analysis
Assist in piloting the selected assessment tool with a sample group of employees.
Collect, analyze, and report on pilot data to identify digital skill gaps across departments and roles.
Present findings and insights to HR and IT leadership with actionable recommendations.
Upskilling Strategy Development
Research digital upskilling frameworks and vendor platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Udemy Business, Microsoft Learn).
Contribute to the design of a tiered digital literacy learning pathway tailored to different employee skill levels.
Assist in the development of communication plans and resources to support rollout of upskilling initiatives.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Learning & Development, or a related field.
Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level student preferred.
Experience or coursework in instructional design, technology adoption, or workplace training a plus.
Salary Description
$18/hr.
