COMPENSATION: $125 per day for the first ten (10) days of the assignment; then $150 per day for the remainder of the assignment

Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License with School Counselor Endorsement.

Additional qualifications/skills required:

Provide comprehensive counseling services to support students' academic, post-secondary, and personal/social/emotional development

Knowledgeable about students' developmental needs and familiar with the ASCA national model

Possess strong speaking and written communication skills for use in fostering effective communication with students, families, faculty, staff, outside agencies, and administration

Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to assess the needs of students and act as an intervention strategist by using data to tract progress and utilize the MTSS process

Previous school counseling experience preferred

Background in Special Education and/or ESL/ELL preferred
