Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will play a vital role in assembling customized trailers by installing wheels, axles, lights, and other components. The position primarily involves using various hand and power tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, impact and torque wrenches, to meet client specifications. You will also follow blueprints to ensure precise assembly and use forklifts as needed to move trailers and parts.

Responsibilities

Assemble wheels, axles, lights, and other parts onto trailers after welding and painting.

Install engines, pumps, and customer-supplied parts on the trailers.

Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, impact and torque wrenches.

Follow blueprints to create customized trailers for each client.

Operate a forklift to move trailers or parts as necessary.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential Skills

Experience as a mechanic working on trucks, cars, or equipment.

Proficiency in assembly tasks.

Ability to read and follow basic shop drawings and blueprints.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience using hand and power tools in assembly and mechanical processes.

Prior experience working in a trailer, truck, auto, or similar shop.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean weld and fab, paint, and assembly shop, where industrial trailers are manufactured for diverse clients. The environment is fast-paced and demands strong attention to detail, contributing to the company's growth. The shop includes its own fabrication area, machine shop, painting area, and assembly space.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
