Job Summary:
This role will support a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing as it undertakes a significant greenfield expansion in Lebanon, Indiana. This new campus will support the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), including Peptides and Small Molecules. The site includes major manufacturing facilities and critical support infrastructure, all contributing to a state-of-the-art pharma campus designed for the future.
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager â General Conditions to join the team overseeing the development of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing campus in Lebanon, Indiana. This is a greenfield project spread across 600 acres, featuring two major API manufacturing facilities (Peptides and Small Molecule), supported by extensive infrastructure and auxiliary buildings. This Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating general site conditions across multiple functions and stakeholders. This is an on-site role and requires candidates to be local to Lebanon, IN.
Job Duties:
Lead the General Conditions work for the site, including oversight of direct hire services, temporary utilities, and contracted site services.
Manage day-to-day operations across various support structures including the fire station, visitor center, and recycle center.
Act as the liaison between internal teams and contractors, ensuring smooth coordination and project alignment.
Conduct and lead coordination meetings, daily site meetings, and interface with multiple project teams.
Supervise project controls, reviewing schedules, cost reports, and providing leadership updates.
Manage procurement tasks, including the review of T&M sheets, invoices, and POs.
Assist with construction design/constructability issues and facilitate the handover of completed work to operations.
Maintain and enforce site safety and environmental compliance plans.
Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track critical project milestones.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably on large-scale ($100M+) industrial or pharmaceutical projects.
Demonstrated leadership in general conditions, direct hire oversight, and managing subcontracted work.
Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, and cost/schedule tracking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or GED required; relevant college coursework preferred.
Must be organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and digital document management.
Construction site experience is a plus; safety training will be provided.
