Maintenance Tech 3rd Shift

Debbieâ s Staffing is now recruiting for Maintenance Tech for our client located in Rural Hall, NC!

Schedule: Monday â Thursday 8pm â 6:00pm plus overtime during the week and weekends.

Pay: $24.00 per hour, Temp-To-Hire, Weekly Pay!

Job Summary: Responsible for general maintenance, repair and service of electro-mechanical equipment, utilities equipment and service equipment. Must be multi-skilled and able to perform a variety of duties involving trouble shooting mechanical/electrical problems of powered equipment and conveyor system. Responsible for general maintenance of equipment in the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic machine controls including PLC's, frequency drives, encoders, logic controls, and timing control circuits.

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to all production machinery including motors, relays, circuit breakers, machines and process controls and circuits, alarm and communication systems. Diagnose problems and replace or repair worn or defective parts.

Install, setup, and make repairs of all production machinery components and subcomponents including high-pressure steam, water, air, hydraulic, electrical, and gas lines, piping and tubing. Diagnose problems, disassemble, determine extent of repairs, or make repairs and adjustments.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production machinery as assigned by supervisor.

Install general facilities lighting, electrical components and wiring

Assist with other general machine repairs.

Rebuild machinery sub-components.

Repair and maintain facility, building structure and office structure as necessary

Perform welding, plumbing, carpentry and other operations as required.

All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Electrical experience is a must.

• Read, write, add subtract, multiply and divide â understand implied instructions.

• Job related knowledge should include the ability to work with, trouble shoot and repair

switches, photo-cells, air valves, motors, and industrial pneumatics

• Ability to learn and comprehend distribution/production business is required.

• Good communication skills.

• Must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and be able to work under stress.

• Must be able to work safely in a fast paced team environment.

• Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack.
