We are looking for personal trainers who are wanting to bring their specialty to our community for one-on-one training, small group training, and recreation programming.
Up to 29 hours per week; evening and weekend availability required.

Essential Position Functions
Essential Position Functions:
Administer fitness assessment for new and interested clients
Evaluate and determine appropriate goals and exercises
Offer guidance, motivation, and expertise
Track and monitor progress, making appropriate changes as needed
Adhere to all guidelines for safety as outlined by the facility and certifying body
Schedule and track all training appointments. Reschedule/cancel with clients when necessary
Direct clients to guest services to collect payments, no money should be exchanged between the client and trainer
Develop and implement specialty and small group classes as needed
Participate in Community Center promotions and wellness incentives
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification i.e.: ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE or equivalent
One year experience personal training in a fitness center, health club, community center, or equivalent
Experience working with and around people of all ages and fitness levels
Passion for health/fitness industry
Be able to react quickly and efficiently in a health emergency situation
CPR, AED and First Aid certification required
Able to perform all essential Position Functions under working condition requirements as described
Things that may help you be successful in this role
Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
College degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or equivalent
Nutrition certification
Specialty training certifications
Strong Interpersonal communication skills
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, talk loudly, and hear
The employee is often required to move or shift up to 50 lbs
The employee is required to climb, balance, reach, run, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch
The employee must be able to react quickly and spontaneously
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment may be moderately loud when music is present.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: Hours vary and are based on scheduled appointments with clients
